Description: I wanted to touch on a lot of different things in this paper. I explore issues about finding my own voice and identity, dealing with the mis-recognition and the dishonesty that can be a part of growing up. My use of different kinds of text sort of parallels my problems with self-expression throughout the paper, but also stands to show how new media changes the way we make art in general. I also wanted to kind of emphasize the disconnect between learning and formal education that I experienced growing up.
